Product Description:
Premium 6-Wire Ignition Key Switch for Northern Tool Powerhorse Branded 420CC/457CC Electric Start Gas Engine & Generator Models: 45750, 4000ES, 7000ES, 9000ES & 11000ES. A 5-wire ignition key switch assembly may be also used on your generator. If so, please read our Rewiring Instructions carefully before you use our product on your generator. You may need to use your original 6-hole plastic connector as well.

Special Notes:
1)  4-wire combination key switch may be used on Powerhorse Generator & Engine Models 4000ES & 45750; If so, only A, B, E & F wires of 6 wires on our switch are used on your generator while C & D wires of our switch is NO USE to your generator.
2)  there are two types of vehicle electronic connectors used for the 6-wire ignition key switch, namely DJ7062-6.3-11 & DJ7061-6.3-11. The former one is more widely used in the market. If you find the key female connector DOES NOT match your male connector, you need to rewire it yourself. It is very easy because wires on the one you order from us are all wired backwards. Please refer to the following pictures and further information for your convenience.
3)  The wiring connections of  our 6-wire combination key switch may be different from your OEM. Please refer to Section Wiring Connections for details. Please be noted that a wrongly wired ignition key switch will damage your battery, control panel, stater motor assembly and even let your generator catch on fire! If you have any question, please feel free to contact with us for Tech Support.  4)  In case a 5-wire ignition key switch is used on your generators, please make sure you need to relocate wires on your product whenever necessary and must have the White/Green Wire on our switch ground manually; otherwise, you can't stop your generator from running. You may need to use your original 6-hole plastic connector as well.

Wiring Connections:





A: Black/White Wire, to charging coil & the electric contact pole of starter motor solenoid/12V DC Battery.
B: White Wire, to the electric contact pin of starter motor solenoid.
C: Green Wire, to the Negative Pole of DC12V output on control panel.
D: Black Wire, to the Negative Pole of carburetor solenoid.
E: Green/White Wire, to be grounded.
F: Blue Wire, to ignition coil and oil sensor diode.

Warranty:
We warrant our PRODUCTS against manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship and finish under normal use and service for three (3) months from the original date of purchase. Please retain the dated invoice as evidence of the date of purchase. You will need it for any warranty service.

Return:
If you are not satisfied with our items and want to return to us, please contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number within 30 days of receipt before you arrange for return. We DO NOT accept any return without EMA number. Non-authorized returns will be refused and sent back to YOU at your cost.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges incurred. Shipping and handling fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances.
